AMST offers powder flame spray coating equipment AMST-5P-II & AMST-6P-II for spraying ceramics and metallic powders as economical model in the powder flame spray series. Offered guns are similar to Oerlikon Metco’s Type 5P-II & 6P-II combustion powder flame spray guns. The system has light weight hand held powder flame spray gun which is unique in design and easy to operate. The AMST-5P-II & AMST-6P-II system is ideal for occasional thermal spray needs and a good choice for entry level of powder spray requirements.
AMST-5P-II & AMST-6P-II Powder flame spray system is most commonly used for the application of part restoration, wear resistance coating, non-conductive, anti-corrosion, etc . The gun has powder canister on it and thus avoids any separate requirement of powder feeder.
The gun is suitable to spray powder like self-fluxing alloys, ceramics, self-bonding material and other metallic alloys. The system offers high deposition rate of coating to meet the customer’s requirements.

AMST offers ID extensions for powder flame spray guns for inside coating where coating flame from standard gun cannot reach. The ID extension is offered is three length 1’, 2’ & 3’.
The extension is available in 80° spray angle for coating inside any pipe like surface.

Powder flame spray process uses Fuel gas (Acetylene/Hydrogen) and Oxygen for the combustion to melt the powder in the flame to spray on the substrate, gets instantly solidifies in various layers thus gives required coating thickness of desired coating properties. Powder is fed from axially in the flame and thus uniformly melts the material to achieve required coating properties.
